BHS DECA is a member of the International DECA organization (http://www.deca.org/). DECA is a club that allows students to develop their leadership and entrepreneur skills by studying and competing in business and technology relation competitions at the region, state, and international annual conferences. Students can join BHS DECA during the beginning of each school year if they are enrolled in business classes or CPE or STEM at BHS> Membership fee is $20. Annual competitions are in January, February, and April/May.

BHS DECA District Conference 2019

Baldwyn High School DECA Club members will advance to the state level of competition after placing at the district level. Members include Corey Large and Ryder Osmundson, 2nd place in Business Law and Ethics; Ethan Carmichael and Garrett Gray, 4th place in Hospitality Services; Jackson Allen and Josh Reynolds, 1st place in Marketing Management; Sydney Griffin, 1st place in Hospitality and Tourism; and Destiny Nowell, 1st place in Restaurant and Food Service. Also participating at the district level was Lawson Gamble. Sponsor of the BHS DECA Club is Joe Blassingame.
