Teacher Academy I
This course is designed for any student who is interested in the field of education as a career. Students are allowed to observe in at least three classrooms throughout the year. They are exposed to both the historical aspect of education and the current events affecting education. Students observe one day per week and are in the classroom the remaining days. Students are expected to take a standardized test, CPAS, at the close of the course.
Teacher Academy II
This course is designed for all year one Teacher Academy students. Students will again observe at least three classrooms throughout the year, two days per week. Teacher Academy II students are required to work directly with students and teach a mini-lesson and complete a PBA.
