Teachers will NOT be available at pre-registration but will be at Open House on Aug. 1. Schedules will ONLY be available at the regular registration after all forms have been turned in at Open House.
The purpose of the pre-registration dates is to reduce the wait time for parents when registering and to create more convenient dates to register students. You do NOT have to attend both pre-registration and registration. Documents to have on hand for new students include birth certificate, social security card, proofs of residency, family income details, etc.
Kindergarten and seventh grade students must have a Immunization 121 form also for proof of vaccines. School lunch forms and proofs of residency are two required documents of registration per the Mississippi Department of Education.
Lunch forms can be completed in privacy and submitted directly to he Child Nutrition Director Britani Buchannon at Central Office or at the Nutrition table set up at Open House. "This process we hope will help parents and students have more privacy about financial and domestic details when submitting the lunch form," Buchannon said.
